We strive to build a program of the highest quality that uses the latest research to safely and efficiently progress people of all levels and personalities to optimal levels of health and fitness. RoughFit will work to accomplish this by providing a creative variety of workout styles and classes that makes exercise enjoyable, offering extra opportunities for challenge and growth, and building a team of elite instructors who are passionate about health and fitness, and desire to help make a difference in people's lives.
In addition, RoughFit's goal is to build a supportive and positive community through our classes and events that values respect, integrity, passion, commitment, and compassion.

Jenni Johnson - Owner
group fitness instructor and Running Coach
Jenni Johnson is a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM, she has 200 hour Yoga certification through Core Power, a BS in Kinesiology, and MS in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. Jenni has been a fitness trainer and coach since 2007. She competed as an elite development athlete for 7 years and trained for the Olympic trials in the marathon running a 2:49:08 marathon.
Jenni is constantly increasing her knowledge and staying up to date on the latest exercise research. She brings an amazing positive energy to everything she does and her enthusiasm for physical fitness and health always shines through.

Terri Lively - Group Fitness Instructor
Terri Lively is a NASM-certified group fitness instructor. Terri has been a member of RoughFit for several years and is as likely to be your classmate as your instructor. She is passionate about health and fitness and motivated to help you reach your fitness goals. She believes consistency is the key to long-term fitness and maintaining your health, physically and mentally. She loves creating programs that challenge her classes to work out and have fun, usually with a great soundtrack.

Karen Finnegan - Group Fitness instructor
Karen Finnegan is a Certified Fitness Trainer, Specialist in Senior Fitness, and Fitness and Sports Nutrition Specialist. Her passion is helping others live a healthy and active lifestyle. Karen firmly believes that by keeping active on a regular basis, you can vastly improve your health, strength, mobility and independence, especially as you age. She enjoys creating new programs, with challenging exercises, to help inspire others to keep reaching for their goals. Karen is constantly amazed at the dedication and commitment of the current RoughFit members and is proud to say that she is a part of the RoughFit family!

Kelsey Barritt - yoga Instructor
Kelsey Barritt is a 200 hour True Flow trained yoga instructor from Orange. She has been with RoughFit almost two years now, teaching Vinyasa Flow and Gentle Stretch. Kelsey loves to focus on the smooth flow with breath during her classes, incorporating balancing poses for an extra challenge. She makes sure that all of her classes can be modified for a beginner or advanced yogi. She is so appreciative of her regulars that have been with her since day one, and hopes to find some more!

Emmy Coats - Yoga Instructor
Emmy Coats has been practicing yoga for over 25 years. In 2015 she decided to dive deeper into her personal practice and became a 200 hour certified instructor from Core Power Yoga. She is inspired by music for her yoga playlists and finds linking breath to movement the pinnacle of a yoga flow and cues accordingly. She loves the sense of community with RoughFit and has been a part of the group for over 12 years originally as a Group Fitness participant.
In her spare time, she loves walking her dog Archie, playing pickleball and of course Yoga!
Tammy Zwolinsky is a NASM- Certified personal trainer. Tammy has been training RoughFit for over 15 years and loves watching her clients develop their fitness skills and perfect their form. She believes in giving her classes a variety of workouts using different exercises to keep her classes innovative and challenging. Whether it’s how to make an exercise more challenging or how to know when enough is enough, Tammy also gives her classes the tools to manage their fitness approach, promoting progress and longevity.
