Kevin has acheived so much in the time that he’s been with Rough-Fit. Not only has he achieved weight loss, a healthy diet, and overall improvement in fitness, he’s also broken a four hour marathon and looks forward to qualifying for the Boston Marathon. Kevin is constantly encouraging others in class and helping them to stay motivated and improve. His great attitude and uplifting spirit brings the Rough-Fit community together and embodies what it means to be a Rough-Fitter. Congrats Kevin on your achievements and success!

Janet Myrick - Featured Member January 2013

“When I started Rough-Fit, I couldn’t run around the park, and now, I’m doing half marathons.” - Janet Myrick

Janet has overcome some big obstacles in her past three years with Rough-Fit. She has recovered from Thyroid surgery and reached a great level of fitness. This year was a good year for her because she achieved a couple milestones such as her first 10k, mud run, and half marathon. We are incredibly proud of her and her achievements and look forward to continuing working with her. Great job Janet and congratulations on your progress and success!

Bill Somers - Featured Member December 2012

Bill has been a part of Rough-Fit for several years now and has made major progress in his fitness. He is a pleasure to work with and a real hard worker, and this shows clearly in his running. Not only has he already qualified for and completed the Boston Marathon, a major goal for many runners, he is also continuing to improve his times and skills as a runner. As he participates in the Rough-Fit Running Performance Class, he works on his agility, endurance, and overall health. We look forward to working with him more in the future and helping him further improve his running.

Cindy has been a part of RoughFit for many years now, and has not only lost the weight, and kept it off, but has taken on new adventures such as trail races, mud runs, rock climbing and half marathons! Cindy has really found a great community with her fellow RoughFitters, and enjoys the support she receives on a daily basis. She is a real inspiration to us and everyone around her. We are so thankful for the opportunity to work with Cindy each and every day.

Judy Mottl - Featured Member October 2012

“Originally when I joined, I was pretty much at rock bottom. I had a knee injury and was carrying a lot of extra weight. I was looking for a group to workout with that was consistent and didn’t take a lot of breaks, and over the course of 15 months, I’ve lost almost 55 pounds and gained a lot of energy. I can keep up with my kids now, and it’s been a big difference in my life.” – Judy Mottl

Judy has been an inspiration in RoughFit’s boot camp classes since she joined. Her positive attitude and drive to work hard and willingness to make the healthy changes make her so much fun to work with. She used to work one on one with a personal trainer, but found has found her niche with the outdoor fitness classes.
